I was born and raised in Perryville, Missouri. Unlike some of the other guys on the show, I wasn’t introduced to hunting until I was about 14 years old. Growing up on a dairy farm and milking every twelve hours didn’t often leave a lot of time for extracurricular activities. With the help of some great friends and mentors however, I was finally introduced to the sport and discovered my passion. My first deer hunt sparked an obsession that would lead me all over the world. From hunting black bear in Canada, pheasant in Nebraska, elk in Colorado, and turkey and deer in Missouri, much of my life revolves around the planning and preparation for this wonderful sport. There is nothing I love more than spending time with my family in or around the woods and preparing for the next hunting season. Since much of what I have learned about hunting came from some very special people in my life, I also have a passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of hunters. Introducing youngsters to the great outdoors is something I really look forward to every year. With fall just around the corner, I’m excited for the up and coming season and truly honored to be a part of “The Break” staff.
